Deliveries, Refund and Returns Policy
1. Delivery
- Ireland & Northern Ireland: Deliveries within Ireland typically take 1-2 working days, while deliveries to Northern Ireland may take 2-3 working days.
- International Delivery: International delivery can be arranged only after prior consultation with the store owner.
- Order Processing: Orders are usually processed and dispatched on the next working day, subject to stock availability. The actual delivery time will depend on the carrier used, the delivery address, and any special delivery options selected.
- Delivery Inspection: Please thoroughly inspect your order upon arrival. If there are any obvious signs of damage to the packaging, report it to the driver when signing for the item. In serious cases, you may be entitled to refuse the delivery.
2. Delivery Charges
- All standard orders placed on the Marine Reptiles website (https://marinereptiles.ie) are subject to handling, packing, and delivery charges. These are calculated and displayed during the ordering process.
- We reserve the right to alter the displayed charges after order completion in the event of large or heavy parcels, or parcels containing livestock, which may require additional charges.
- All charges are based on the courier company’s price plans.
3. Refunds
- Refund Process: Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email notification. We will inform you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will be applied to your bank, PayPal account, or original payment method within a certain number of days.
- Late or Missing Refunds: If you have not received a refund yet, please first check your bank or PayPal account again. Contact your credit card company, as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. - Sale Items: Only regular-priced items are eligible for a refund. Sale items cannot be refunded.
4. Returns
- Eligibility: To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused, in the same condition as received, and in its original packaging.
- Non-Returnable Items: Perishable goods such as livestock and frozen food, as well as gift cards, are exempt from being returned.
- Proof of Purchase: A receipt or proof of purchase is required to complete your return.
- Return Period: If you have had the item for less than 30 days, you are entitled to a refund, or you may request a repair or replacement. For items held for more than 30 days, you may be entitled to a repair or replacement. If the fault appears after six months, proof that the item was faulty at the time of delivery may be required.
- Warranty: Unless expressly stated otherwise, we do not provide any warranty beyond your statutory rights.
5. Shipping Returns
- Condition: Any item that is not in its original condition, is damaged, or is missing parts due to reasons not related to our error, will not be eligible for return or refund.
- Return Address: To return your product, mail it to our local shop at MARKET YARD NEWCASTLE WEST, CO. Limerick, Eir code: V42 TW60, Ireland. Do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
- Shipping Costs: You are responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
- Exchanges: We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. We reserve the right to send the exchanged product back to you within 4 weeks from the date of receipt of the returned product.
