The substance has shown a negative effect on snails, including nudibranchs and all mussels and starfish. Despite all efforts to ensure that the removal of the “Kanvia” substance is safe and that the preparation has shown negligible side effects on the tank, it should be remembered that most flatworms secrete toxins that are dangerous to the tank, therefore, based on the number of flatworms, the aquarium population and the parameters in the tank, the risk should be estimated.
In the event of negative effects when Convolutriloba dies, the largest possible water change should be made by sucking out the dead flatworms.
