Reptile supplementary food. Finely powdered calcium supplement.
Powdered calcium is 100% natural, so it cannot be overdosed. Avoid excessive dusting, as this can be off-putting for the animal being fed. Most reptiles and amphibians can absorb calcium through food, provided that vitamin D3 is present. It is important to provide an adequate source of UVB radiation to enable vitamin D3 synthesis. Vitamin and mineral supplements should be used in conjunction with powdered calcium.
Ingredients: Calcium carbonate.
Feeding instructions: Sprinkle powdered calcium over food for herbivores. We place the food insects in a box with powdered calcium in it, shake the box gently so that the powder sticks to the insects. Then we feed them immediately. The animal must always have access to clean water. After opening, store in a cool, dry place. The expiry date is on the packaging.
