Vitamin D3 helps with calcium absorption and is essential for captive reptiles when the animals are not exposed to natural sunlight or ultraviolet radiation. Most reptiles and amphibians are able to absorb calcium from their diet, provided they have a supply of vitamin D3, so it is essential to provide a source of UVB light to synthesize D3.
Feeding Instructions: Sprinkle the product over the food for herbivorous reptiles, as well as the feeder insects that we place in the box, which we shake gently to ensure that the insects remain covered with the supplement. Then feed immediately. Always provide clean water.
