A substrate made of finely chopped hemp stalks. It is extremely absorbent (a 5l package of the substrate can absorb up to 1500 ml of liquid) and soft substrate, which also allows the construction of shelters. It is completely safe and does not pose a threat in the event of ingestion – it does not clog the digestive tract and is easily digestible. For all reptiles, mammals and insects, including turtles, hamsters, rabbits, dragonflies, royal pythons, bearded dragons, bats and many others.
This is a specially selected substrate from legal sources. The choice is to choose the right plant strains to create the substrate. The plants are selected for their health and condition. The substrate obtained in this way is characterized by increased durability, water and moisture absorption or resistance to temperature and mechanical influences, depending on the type of substrate.
Terrario makes every effort to deliver freshly “harvested” substrates to you. Long storage times can have a negative effect on the plant substrate. For this reason, Terrario is the only company that uses a fast airline to collect the substrate from its natural source.
The substrates are sterilized with UV-C light, making them free from fungi, bacteria and mold spores. They do not contain artificial dyes, fertilizers, toxic substances or preservatives.
