This is a specially selected substrate from legal sources. The selection consists of selecting the appropriate plant strains intended for creating the substrate. The plants are selected for their condition and health. The substrate obtained in this way is characterized by increased durability, water and moisture absorption or resistance to temperature and mechanical factors – depending on the type of substrate.
Safety and freshness of substrates from the Heart of the Jungle series:
The Terrario manufacturer makes every effort to ensure that you receive a freshly “collected” substrate. Long storage times can adversely affect plant substrates. Therefore, Terrario is the only company that uses fast airlines to collect the substrate from its place of natural origin.
The substrates are sterilized with UV-C light, making them free from fungi, bacteria and fungal and mold spores. They do not contain artificial dyes, fertilizers, looseners or preservatives.
Krau Wildlife substrate:
Commonly known as Aspen or Lignocel. It has distinctive features that are also an improvement over its counterparts. First of all, it is a matter of UV light sterilization. An additional improvement is the special segregation of wood by separating soft and hard tissue. This segregation increases the liquid-absorbing properties and has a positive effect on the health of animals, making it easier for them to move and dig burrows.
In addition to sterility, it provides a good decoration for the terrarium. It is easy to maintain and care for. What’s more, it does not pose a threat if swallowed.
