Terrario substrate series – Heart of the Jungle:
This is a specially selected substrate from legal sources. The selection consists of selecting the appropriate plant strains intended for creating the substrate. The plants are selected for their condition and health. The substrate obtained in this way is characterized by increased durability, water and moisture absorption or resistance to temperatures and mechanical factors – depending on the type of substrate.
Safety and freshness of substrates from the Heart of the Jungle series:
The Terrario manufacturer makes every effort to ensure that you receive a freshly “collected” substrate. Long storage times can adversely affect plant substrates. Therefore, Terrario is the only company that uses fast airlines to collect the substrate from its place of natural origin.
Negro Rainforest substrate:
Perfectly reflects the characteristics of a humid environment and perfectly adapts to the needs of the user. The substrate – coconut chips – perfectly absorbs and maintains moisture, thus maintaining balance inside the enclosure. It can be used in a wide range of applications, including: moist terrariums, dry terrariums, paludariums, forest-in-a-jar compositions.
Thicker pieces of coconut are recommended for medium and large terrarium animals, as they make it easier for them to move.
The substrate does not pose a threat in the event of accidental consumption by reptiles or amphibians.
Hermetic packaging:
The substrate is hermetically packed immediately after collection. That is why the manufacturer’s label is on the outside of the packaging.
