You can mix!
You can mix the bark with other substrates for better effects:
– with beech or alder chips in dry terrariums
– with coconut fiber or coconut chips in semi-tropical terrariums
– with peat in any form for wet terrariums

Antibacterial and fungicidal effect:
These properties protect your pet from microorganisms that could harm it. More importantly, these properties limit the growth of bacteria and fungi in other types of substrate.

Absorbs unpleasant odors:
This is another advantage of a versatile substrate. The bark strongly absorbs and hides unpleasant odors coming from, for example, urine or feces.
